Nora Daza was undoubtedly the Filipino expert on French food during her time. She was the first to set up a French restaurant in Manila -- Au Bon Vivant -- which became the go-to place for gourmands and the well-heeled in the late 1960s. When she comes up with her own recipe for a French dish, we can be sure it's good.
