President Biden signed Anti-Asian Hate Crimes Bill into law. The bill was introduced by Rep. Grace Meng (D-N.Y) and Senator Mazie Hirono (D-Hawaii) and addresses issues such as the underreporting of incidents and crimes as well as the lack of access and cross-cultural understanding in legal proceedings.
