May is Asian American, Native Hawai’ian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month
Every May, the United States observes Asian American, Native Hawai’ian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month. It's a time to recognize the contributions and cultures of the diverse AANHPI communities across the nation. Please join us in celebrating this very special month!
Give in May is a time to donate to your favorite AANHPI group and we ask that you donate to the FANHS Museum at https://www.mightycause.com/organization/Filipino-American-National-Historical-Society-Museum all during this month! Every little bit helps us create the exhibits that educate the public all about Filipino American history! Thank you so much!
And THANK YOU to all who donated on April 30th for the San Joaquin County’s 209Gives fundraiser! We were able to raise over $5,000 and was able to get a $1000 matching grant from the Library & Literacy Foundation for San Joaquin County (https://llfsjc.org/) This will enable us to continue our mission of educating the everyone about the importance of Filipino American history in the United States! THANK YOU!
The Museum will be open the first weekend in May with no appointments necessary! Last group will be admitted at 3:30pm. Come down and check us out!
