Get in the holiday spirit with a parol lantern-making workshop in YBCA’s lobby, hosted by SOMA Pilipinas! Parol lanterns are a traditional Filipino symbol of the holidays, bringing hope, peace, blessings, and light to the season. Join us for a workshop on Friday, December 3 and Saturday, December 4 at 1pm and 3pm.

Celebrate the Parol Lantern Festival at YBCA on Saturday, December 11 from 4-8 pm. Explore a showcase of specialty parols made by Filipino artists and creators, enjoy traditional Filipino holiday treats, listen to live music, and watch a ritual dance performance and a parol lighting ceremony.
