Video of the Week: PH Rep’s Impassioned Plea vs. Global Warming Gets Standing Ovation

In the aftermath of Super Typhoon Yolanda/Haiyan, Philippine climate change representative Naderev "Yeb" Sano pleaded to world representatives at a new round of global talks to cut Earth-warming greenhouse gases, to take immediate, drastic action. He also pledged not to eat during the conference until meaningful action is “in sight,” which could include pledges of money for a Green Climate Fund for developing countries that are coping with climate change. Sano was given a standing ovation.
