[PARTNER] After the Storm: A Benefit Concert for the Philippines

The US-Philippines Society, in partnership with the Embassy of the Philippines in Washington, D.C., and the Philippine Humanitarian Coalition, present After the Storm: A Benefit Concert for the Philippines, a fundraising event on June 15, 2014 at 8:00 PM at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. Proceeds of the event go to the recovery efforts in the areas of the Philippines affected by Typhoon Yolanda/Haiyan.

Special guest entertainers include Broadway star Lea Salonga, Apl.de.ap of the Black-Eyed Peas, Hollywood actor Lou Diamond Phillips, Grammy Award-winning violinist Joshua Bell, Christine Rocas of the Joffrey Ballet, Darren Criss of Glee, opera star Rodell Rosel, and international singer Charice Pempengco.  They will be joined by the Fairfax Symphony Orchestra conducted by Luke Frazier and the Broadway Community Chorus founded by Broadway legend Baayork Lee. 

Please support this humanitarian initiative aimed at helping people recover from an unprecedented natural disaster. Funds raised will help families reconstruct homes and schools, restart businesses, restore livelihoods and regain access to health facilities.
