"Home Away From Home" at the 22nd Pistahan Parade and Festival

Filipino American Arts Exposition celebrated community pride at this year's Pistahan Parade and Festival at the Yerba Buena Gardens in San Francisco last August 8-9, 2015.

The Pistahan Parade kicked off the weekend festivities. Led by celebrity Grand Marshal Michele Bumgarner, a professional Filipina auto racing champion, and Daly City Mayor Ray Buenaventura, the parade's colorful floats adorned with historical themes and lively community contingents have made the Pistahan Parade a Filipino cultural institution.
