Third World Indie Film Festival, which offers education, entertainment, truthfulness, playfulness and justice, is almost here!

TWIFF’s role in helping compassionate and dedicated human beings become better-informed advocates for world empowerment is crucial. This celebration will break not only the commonly held stereotypes of Third World countries, but also shed light on how most First World peoples have suffered relatively more from the recent economic downturn than those in less-developed nations. This makes paramount the study of life in Third World socioeconomic systems.

TWIFF, a collection of films depicting Third World hardships and triumphs, gets at what matters to all people. We accomplish this by celebrating the capacity for love and connection we all share, whether rich or poor. Films screened will include entries from Uganda, Grenada USA, Philippines, Nepal, India, Thailand, Lebanon, Vietnam, North Korea, Cambodia, Syria, Bolivia, Guyena, Sudan, Nigeria, Guatemala, Finland, Australia and USA.
