Tennessee Republicans Expel Fil-Am Lawmaker and Colleague Over Gun Violence Protest

Republicans in control of the Tennessee House of Representatives expelled two Democratic Representatives, Filipino American Justin Jones and Justin Pearson, two young Black legislators, for leading a gun control protest at the statehouse last week in the wake of the latest school shooting in Nashville that killed 3 children and 3 adults (See INQUIRER.net for story).
