First Filipino Woman Elected in Yukon, Canada Wins 4th Term

Philippine-born Jocelyn Curteanu, who first won a Whitehorse City Council seat in 2012 won her fourth term last Oct. 21. The 50-year-old mother of four came to Canada in1976, settling in different cities before finally striking roots in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, Canada (See Inquirer.net for story).
