Two Filipinas – photographer Hannah Reyes Morales and visual artist Ren Galeno – and Filipino-American investigative journalist Nicole Dungca were named finalists in the 2024 Pulitzer Prizes, the most prestigious honor for journalists in the United States, on Wednesday, May 6 (See Rappler for story).

Filipino photojournalist Hannah Reyes Morales has been tapped as one of the photographers for the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize. Alongside Russia's Nanna Heitmann, she will showcase a photography exhibition in Oslo, Norway to highlight this year's Nobel Peace Prize winners (See Philstar for story).
