Florence Ebersole Smith Finch was held captive by the Japanese during World War II, tortured and forced to curl up in a 2-foot-by-4-foot box, after she was caught steering supplies to Filipino guerrillas and American POWs. Finch, a U.S. Coast Guard veteran was buried Saturday with full military honors. She died Dec. 8 at age 101, reports Yahoo News.
