College Renames Building to Honor Late Fil-Am Historian Dawn Mabalon

A building of San Joaquin Delta College was renamed after the late Filipino American historian Dawn Mabalon. It’s among the three buildings the college’s Board of Trustees renamed to honor distinguished community members (See INQUIRER.net for story).

Children's Book on Fil-Am Labor Hero Larry Itliong in the Works

A children's book, "Journey for Justice: The Life of Larry Itliong," by Dawn B. Mabalon, PhD with Gayle Romasanta and illustrated by Andre Sibayan will be published by Bridge + Delta Publishing early next year, reports Inquirer.net.
