Michael Villagante
Filipino visual artist Michael Villagante was the first prize winner in the painting category of the Lorenzo il Magnifico International Art Award at the recently concluded 13th Florence Biennale. His painting, “Pagtahan (Cessation of Crying)” bested several artworks in the competition (See ABS-CBN News for story).
