Filipino Artist Exhibits 'Recycled' Coral Reef in Mongolia
/Cebu-based Francis Sollano is the first Filipino to have been invited to exhibit his work at the the 2nd Ulaanbaatar International Media Art Festival in Mongolia, which kicked off on June 9 at the National Art Gallery of Mongolia. His installation, titled “Traces of Anthropocene or Life?” features a five-meter installation created from hundreds of plastic bottles and is made to look like coral tubules, reports Inquirer.net.
