Fil-Am Teen Wins 9 Medals for PH at Int'l History Olympiad

Alejandro Lim, 14, a dual citizen of the U.S. and the Philippines, won a total of nine medals at the inaugural International History Olympiad held at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia from July 9 to 15. Participating in the Middle School Division, Lim won two gold medals, two silvers and five bronzes, including a bronze in the overall individual event comprising three other events, reports Inquirer.net.
