LALÒ, a newly-formed Filipino-American choral ensemble based in the Bay Area, is set to make its highly anticipated debut this December under the artistic direction of conductor Dr. Raoul Carlo “Miggi” Angangco. The ensemble unites seasoned choral artists, including alumni from some of the Philippines’ most renowned choirs, such as the Philippine Madrigal Singers, UP Concert Chorus, Ateneo Chamber Singers, and more. Named after the Tagalog word for “more” or “greater,” LALÒ seeks to celebrate and expand cultural diversity through music, sharing the unique narratives of Filipino heritage with audiences worldwide.
