Shorts Night II on Sept. 8 will feature works by some of the most exciting, adventurous and acclaimed film artists in the current Phil/Phil Am film scene, including the recent 2022 Cinemalaya Best Short and NETPAC winner, Black Rainbow. Film directors Pawi Bitanga and Chuck Gutierrez & producer Babyruth Villarama will be on hand for the talkback

Closing Night/Indie Night II on Sept. 9 stars Nora Aunor who shot to fame in her early teens after winning a TV singing contest then amassed in the following decades a filmography that made has her the most nominated actress in Gawad Urian history, garnering 21 nominations and winning seven. At age sixty, she made an autumnal appearance in Kuwento ni Mabuti, where her restrained expressiveness matches the bracing economy of de Guzman's mise-en-scene.
