SFGC's Community Book Club: Session 3

We are excited to invite you to attend our next Community Book Club session around our upcoming choral-opera, Tomorrow's Memories: A Little Manila Diary. We hope you will join us if you are local to the SF area!

This discussion will feature three incredible panelists: storyteller and filmmaker, Fides Enriquez, Executive Director of Manilatown Heritage Foundation in SF, Caroline Cabading, and author Evangeline Buell. The panelists will explore a discussion around stories and heritage of young women’s journeys as aligned with the museum’s exhibit, Weaving Stories, which features art and artifacts from the Philippines and southeast Asia. The event will conclude with a performance by our Soloist Intensive singers and guitarist Florante Aguilar presenting Filipino songs, and after the session, the museum will open to participants to explore.
