INVITATION Briefing & Input: Asian Language Access for Police and Victim Services

After the wave of anti-Asian violence, the U.S. Commission on Civil Right recommended that local police and victim services must better accommodate limited English proficient Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders (AANHPI). To address this, Commissioner Glenn D. Magpantay examined and found the top 100 counties with the largest populations of limited English proficient AANHPIs.

Come learn about those counties and give input on localities where additional efforts are needed. Advocates are invited to suggest areas and languages for interpreters and translated materials.

This briefing and input session will be offered virtually over digital video conferences. The same session will be offered twice. Register for the briefing that is most convenient for you. Login info provided after registration.
