Intro to Shadow Puppet Workshop and Bindlestiff with Filipino AF at SF Sketchfest!

Explore the endless possibilities of light and shadow! This four-part workshop covers the basics of shadow puppetry, including the history, techniques, and style. Whether you want to create a shadow play story of your own or you want to simply play and learn a new skill, all are welcome. Facilitated by Bindlestiff Studio Artistic Director Aureen Almario, with special guest speakers Larry Reed, founder of Shadowlight Productions, and Lorna Velasco, former artistic director of Bindlestiff Studio. 

Materials will be provided in the workshop. Participants are ages 18 and up.
