Chicago's Sunda New Asian Offers Specials in October

With family roots in the Philippines, Sunda New Asian Founder, Billy Dec and Executive Chef, Mike Morales are especially proud to share twists on some of their favorite Filipino dishes during Filipino American History Month. These specials will be available all month long at the Fulton Market (333 North Green Street, Chicago) and River North (110 W Illinois, Chicago) locations.

Kamayan Feast & FOOD ROOTS Private Film Screening

October 9 - 5:15pm & 7:30pm

Celebrate Filipino American History Month at Sunda with an immersive and interactive culinary event! Experience an island-style Kamayan Feast highlighting the vibrant foods of the Philippines like Adobo Pork Belly, Crispy Pata, Chicken Inasal, Grilled Garlic Shrimp, and more, served on a banana leaf with jasmine rice, fresh fruit, and dipping sauces. Kamayan Feast will take place at 6:30 pm. Enjoy a private screening of FOOD ROOTS before or after your Kamayan Feast, with viewings at 5:15 pm and 7:30 pm (please select your screening time above). FOOD ROOTS is a documentary following Emmy winner and Sunda owner Billy Dec, exploring Filipino cuisine and family secrets in his mother's native islands of the Philippines. Tickets are limited!
