An Evening with Senator Risa Hontiveros

Philippine Senator and Deputy Minority Leader Risa Hontiveros is the lone Philippine opposition to win re-election in 2022. She is a staunch advocate for the rights of the marginalized and vulnerable sectors.

Hontiveros will be speaking at the San Francisco Main Public Library’s Latino/Hispanic Rooms A&B  on June 11, 2024. The event will start at 5 pm with a merienda, followed by the main forum at 6 pm. The SF Main Library

She will discuss the continuing fight for good governance and the state of the true opposition and its prospects in upcoming elections.  Hontiveros will also touch on the state of the charter change, Quiboloy, the West Philippine Sea, POGOs, and the ICC.
