[Partner] Give what you can, be part of the solution and make a difference. KOKUA Maui…Mabuhay & Mahalo!

A coalition of organizations agreed to work together to raise funds for the recovery and rehabilitation of Maui, and also raise awareness on the plight of the displaced residents. Lahaina town is the most affected where at least a third of its population are Filipino. A large number of its small businesses are also Filipino-owned.

The Maui Filipino Chamber led the initiative hours after the devastation by establishing a Bayanihan Fund. The FCCH and other Filipino Chambers statewide took the initiative to encourage other groups to coalesce and join forces to help Maui.

Funds collected goes directly to a PayPal account which is earmarked for the Bayanihan Fund and the Hawaii Community Foundation. All donations will be acknowledged by the FCCH Foundation—an IRS 501(c)(3) entity to ensure that these are tax-deductible.
